In which my plot bunnies have a litter.

I am honestly not allowed to think anymore. At first it was just typing which made my brain do mad things. Now I'm just innocently reading The Five Pips, trying to be a responsible author and get this week's 60 done (It's these damn 60s which keep getting me in trouble! Or ACD perhaps.) and my Lestrade idea just doubled in size.

Because I love Lestrade, and if I'm going to put him to all the trouble of being time travelled, I don't want to just give him a little case to work with Holmes and Watson - I'd like to give him something with a little meat.

So, I don't know, how about - um - maybe - Jack the Ripper, perhaps?

Except my brain doesn't stop there. Because when Lestrade gets pulled back to his own time - guess who goes with him?

I'm growing more and more fond of it myself. Though I suspect it doesn't really grasp the amount of research needed for this sort of story. Still, it's nice to have something slowly simmering for after Much Ado.

I'm excited to read all of Much Ado, so please, yes, that one first!! But time-travelling Lestrade afterwards would be a treat!
