John's Portrait

Guys - I wanted this to be its own post because this is so fabulous. [livejournal.com profile] jobia offered me a piece of art (in return for the end bit of I Prefer to Text) and I asked for John's portrait -

AND SHE NAILED IT

- please have a look because I honestly cannot suss out how to get a preview into this space...sigh...technological difficulties surface when they are least convenient...

Please comment there because even though I am a comment slut, this artwork is fabulous and I am unbelievably excited that it is based upon what I wrote - seriously, I am Arthur, Steward of the Aeroplane. Please tell [livejournal.com profile] jobia she is amazing.

Your work really is fabulous. Thank you again - so very much - I just can't quite get over how wonderful it is. You know, I've just thought, I've been fooling around with word/font art and I'd really like to maybe combine your art and my words - I swear to god I'm thinking this as I type, the typing is scary and ridiculous - I now need to do this - a framed 8x5 or possibly a size larger - the words describing the painting can act as a border perhaps...

Well, I drew it for you, babes! Hmmm, a portrait version... if you want the font hand-written I suppose I can help you out there, it wouldn't take a lot of adjustment. 8x5 is pretty tiny, since 8.5x11 is the standard copy paper. The next size up is legal at 8.5x14, and I wouldn't suggest going larger since the original is really only about 2.5x5.5, despite its large dpi.
J-just throwing some specifications at you if you're serious.

Oh, I'm totally serious if you're on board! I'd love to have it to hang or put on display in rl. Whatever size you think would be optimal - let's work on getting that made reality. I'm fully willing to fund the project in full. :-)
