Oh, yea! I'm so glad you're a Sherlock fan as well!
I'd honestly never even attempted fic before that first story reached out, grabbed my ear in its painful little grasp and wouldn't let go; a little because I'm chronically of the 'let others entertain me' persuasion, and a lot because I consider it a lot harder than writing something original. Getting the characters right is so very very important and yet so very subjective for each reader.
It's actually a good thing posting was postponed because I had a brainstorm last night and added a framework to the story that I think makes it better, and I'm just trying to make sure it doesn't break up the emotional arcs too much.
I'm a little worried that my worried-about-John Sherlock voice is a little more woobly than it should be so I might try to tweak that a bit more. It's a fine line to walk with him because on the show we don't get too much of that emotion from him and when I read him as woobly I think, hm...perhaps a little ooc there...
