I've been spotted in RL. A comment I received on the Lemon's adventure at the ROM over on AO3:

It's you! My sister and I kept bumping into you photographing them the other day. We were supposed to be chaperoning a school group. Instead we ended up stalking you a bit. Sorry bout that!

Apparently I'm totally stalkable. I had no idea anyone was interested in what I was doing.

And you were spotted by another Cabin Pressure fan, too, it looks like. Otherwise, they'd never have gone to the AO3 page in the first place. Alas, a missed connection, perhaps.

Precisely. I typed a reply which bemoaned the fact that I wished I'd been able to give them a lemon, but then backed off a bit and simply asked them if they'd made the CP connection at the time or just thought I was a bit mad. I'm hoping for some sort of response. :-) They seem to have an account but nothing bookmarked which may indicate they're not frequent visitors? It's a bit unclear.

lol - I really wish I'd noticed them. I think I avoid engaging with people when I'm doing this, not sure I want to encourage them to inquire. So far I've proven truly terrible at explaining what I'm doing. I was actually asked twice this trip - first time ever, didn't get stopped once in Chicago. I think I need a leaflet.

I'm picturing something alarmingly like a string of ducklings trailing along behind me and hoping that I wasn't that oblivious! It was neat hearing from them. Everybody together: It's a small world after all...
