Aw, thanks! Sherlock seems to freak out a lot in my stories, which is odd because I don't see him as the type of character who freaks out easily. Unfortunately, this leads to my doing terrible things to him on a fairly regular basis because I feel the need to give him a real reason to freak out to keep him IC.
If Sherlock is going to be forced to sit by John's bedside for any length of time you know he'd find the only comfortable piece of furniture within a two mile radius and nick (confiscate!) it.
