Oh come on! I am totally weirder than more than half (don't call me on rounding, I'm grumpy) the LJ community. I put lemons into play in real life! I'm trying to read all this through html so it's possible (but I think unlikely) that my indignation is unwarranted so - you know - take it all with a grain of salt and instead check out my fabulous [livejournal.com profile] holmestice gift by following the tag or visiting the community (if you haven't yet {thank you, lovely people who have!} - it is infinitely more beautiful than anything I have to say - see below for proof. :-)

So, impulsereader, your LiveJournal reveals…

You are… 7% unique (blame, for example, your interest in pirate!sherlock), 10% peculiar, 41% interesting, 31% normal and 10% herdlike (partly because you, like everyone else, enjoy writing). When it comes to friends you are normal. In terms of the way you relate to people, you are keen to please. Your writing style (based on a recent public entry) is conventional.

Your overall weirdness is: 21

(The average level of weirdness is: 28.
You are weirder than 48% of other LJers.)

Find out what your weirdness level is!

In other news, I think the fancy spray glue is working, though I might consider this first run a trial and start over because one of the pretty papers is making me frown at it. I will, though, hold tonight's results in reserve since I am now the most suspicious crafter/scrapbooker on the planet - I eye glue of all kinds in a very dubious manner. :-/

Before I begin whinging yet again - go take a gander at my fabulous Holmestice gift! It is here http://holmestice.livejournal.com/190458.html?thread=1681402& and it is gorgeous. Seriously - so much work went into this. :-) (Thank you to everyone who has already left fabulous feedback :-)

Don't get me wrong, I do not routinely 'scrapbook' but the holiday festivities have gotten a bit out of hand recently and I find I am surrounded by paper and glue and pictures not my own (an entirely separate matter which adds to the crankiness) including CDs and tea - just all sorts of stuff which is time-sensitive if it is actually going to be holiday-ish.

I have one project which is fairly straight-forward: glue pretty paper to bits of cardboard on the way to making a pretty pretty book. Round 1 - went fabulously - honestly - completely flawless results. Round 2 - disaster, bubbles everywhere - utterly disastrous because this is on the other side of Round 1 rendering the previous success null and void. Round 3 (in which I thought I had sorted out the problems of Round 2 and was being eminently sensible) - guess again. Granted - I did not, in fact, buy the exact same glue from Round 1 again (which I had intended to do) on accident - but still! Come on! Cut me some slack gods of crafting! I'm trying to send out some holiday happiness here.

*is petulantly Grinchy*

*actually aims a kick at Max*

*though she purposely misses because Max is her favorite cartoon character pretty much ever*

*cuddles Max in apology*

*but is still Grinchy and sad about all the annoying bubbly paper*

*Max barks at annoying bubbly paper*

*hugs Max*

*sneezes*

because even when he is a cartoon she is quite possibly still allergic...

My [livejournal.com profile] holmestice gift is up and it is utterly fabulous!  Go check out Sea Dog, or, the Fantastical Adventures of the Fearsome Pirate, Captain (Sir)  here: http://holmestice.livejournal.com/190458.html.  It's art so it's relatively quick - I mention this because I am so very, very behind on everything right now (as usual) - but it won't take you a second to pop over and stare at this lovely piece of art for a few hours.  :-)  Oh, and leave wonderful feedback.

It was sort of all over the place, and I apologize for that. It’s the first time I’ve sat down and tried to write out what I enjoy reading. I don’t think I did it terribly coherently, and I’m sorry if you’re confused! Being plunged into my head at any given moment can be confusing, especially if you’re neither me nor familiar with the randomness which goes on over here in my little corner of LJ.

If you’re reading this, feel free to give me the gift of a gift. You can use some of the nonsense in the original prompt or throw it out altogether. I love getting presents in any shape or form, and anything at all is going to make me squee with happiness. It will make me even happier if you also take pleasure in writing, drawing, photoshopping, filming your interpretive dance inspired by my ridiculous prompt, or chucking lemons at things. It’s fine. Really, it’s all fine. :-)

Regards,
