Really lovely! Especially John's subtle and - in the case of utilising Mrs Hudson- not so subtle brand of persuading Sherlock to join in. And I, too, am picturing Sherlock's initial ice skating attempts as very Bambi-esq. That said I also expect that once he got used to it he would extremely graceful out there. Oh I do so love Christmas fics.
