I love this story and can't believe I haven't left a comment yet!
You capture both characters well, showing how much they hurt and miss each other without getting soppy, and you don't lose the humor from the show. I plan to recommend this story and its sequel to my friends in my next round of recs (which might not be for a while, I should warn you!).
