I'm pretty sure the kids had a complete ball doing this. It's nice to see things like this getting them into the arts early. There was rather a lack of boys, but I suppose you can only do so much.
Ah, but fairy tales have changed so much over the years. They were cautionary tales, and being held captive and talked into binding yourself forever to your captor is pretty darn cautionary.
The interesting thing is that so many writers are writing, twisting, reshaping this same tale even now despite the fact that the basic premise is now alarming for completely different reasons.
