It is a butterfly, after all :-) I grew up in Illinois, and I remember them - you can see his namesake white mark in the second picture, on the underside of his wing. Your farmer's market pictures make me want to come back and visit again, almost; I remember the 90% humidity and 90 degree heat, as well, and the mosquitoes. Lovely pictures, as always ♥
