I honestly have to stop not watching Daily/Colbert, but they are on almost every day, and that is so much of my time...and now that I type it I'm thinking how little of my time it actually is...an hour a day? - and I'm feeling so very - where the heck does my time go - and then on my screen Colbert starts to talk about Mitt Romney - and my usual lunchtime google search for MSNBC this week shoots the MSNBC politics page to the top of the results rather than the more general news (I'm here for the entertainment section, guys) page I'm used to. And he's funny - Colbert - he really is, but he's still talking about politics - just like everyone else - talking about politics every second of every day, years before I care about any of it.
I should be in bed, but Colbert caught my eye and now I'm rambling, so special thanks to
killerweasel (THANK YOU!) for staying up with me and giving me super wonderful it support:
23:33 impulsere gotcha. let's see if dragging stuff about does anything.
...
23:35 impulsere oh. so i pull the first in and it knows there is another?
23:35 kweasel yeah it'll glue them together
23:35 kweasel or something
23:36 impulsere this is very reassuring of you - technologically speaking...
23:36 kweasel lol
23:37 impulsere I think it actually worked...
Oh, and I'm catching up with Graham Norton and realizing that I should really keep up with him in real time because the commercials tell me what is on BBCA - I want to watch Twenty Twelve - but BBCA is no longer airing it! At least, not at the moment. Can anyone weigh in? Is it as good as it seems?
Also, Copper seems to be the next big thing coming to BBCA - at least per tonight's commercials. How do you guys feel about that?
...
I just got confused, because this is supposed to be New York? And realizing that, I rethought what I thought I'd seen on the commercial - surely this isn't BBCA? But it is...so, how do you Brits feel about this olde tyme New York police procedural? k. I totally value your opinion, and you do much better tv than we do, so, honestly - whatever - just tell me what to watch at this point. I'm also going to watch more Murder Rooms as soon as I can manage it.
OK - to be fair, Colbert is now asking a musician if he would give up sex or music if he had to choose, so he's not all about politics - it's just that once you start the show, it's hard to FF through just the politics parts...
