I (unwisely) decided not to hitch an early ride to the museum. I rose relatively early and LJ'd for a bit, trying to work up the motivation to get moving on a day which was at 90 by 8:30. I then made it to the museum under my own power and learned it is even hotter in the heart of the city than it is in my little corner which contains trees.
I saw a Genghis Khan exhibit, though, and there was a video which totally did a "his name was [unclear yelping cry] GENGHIS KKHHAAAAAANNNNNN" so it was totally worth it.
Then we gave in and put the AC unit in the bedroom. It is very, very HOT here.
