Maybe post the related ones in the same post and then spread the others out? It depends on how many posts you want to be tracking the replies to.
In other news, I'll be back in Chicago tomorrow evening. Do you have a Real Job™? If we were to meet at that tea shop, would it be better for it to be over a weekend? (I'm a graduate student, rich with unstructured time, so weekdays aren't a problem for me.)
I do, unfortunately, have a Real Job™, so either a weekend day or an evening - Tues. or Thurs. preferred. Normally I'd be able to say I'm very open regarding dates, but I seem to have acquired an unusual number of obligations during the next week or so. One day this weekend I'm going to be occupied, probably Saturday. Next weekend I have a birthday party Sat afternoon followed by a gig in the evening - out in Brookfield, no less - KR is a guitarist. The 12th we're going to see Singin' in the Rain after work, and I'm hoping there's going to be a meet up of Benedict fans to see Frankenstein on the 22nd. Other than those constraints, I'm open.
Hm. I'm just wondering if a single post is less annoying than peppering everyone with question posts asking them to weigh in. I already feel pretty high maintenance given that I've been posting pretty much every day.
I think I'll do my poll to start and await further responses.
Well, Sundays could be a thing, and Tuesday evenings are grand. (Thursdays not so much; I have a regular commitment on Thursday evenings, and it's one that I have been known to blow off grad school events for.)
And, of course, any musical questions can be discussed at the tea shop or afterwards.
I will do my best to pull together the musical bits which currently exist and send them to you beforehand so we have something to actually discuss. One of the bits I've started is the actual performance on Christmas Eve and I'll try to get a feel for where that's going tomorrow. I don't suppose you'd care to compose ickle Sherlock's newly-found sonata? :-) I'm fine with either of the next coming Sundays or a Tuesday after six or so. Let me know what you think.

Alas, aside from one specific choral genre that Sherlock would never in a million years deign to be associated with, I'm kind of a shit composer. But I might be able to tell you things about the sonata (for instance, you know about sonata form, right?), what it might sound like, or how and why he might have composed it.
I know nothing at all about sonata form. I googled 'violin solo work' to get a reasonable medium within which 6-year-old Sherlock might be working. This is how pathetic I am.
