I was actually sort of imagining Sherlock and crew need some rescuing after their abrupt reintroduction to gravity, and they either limp into the Cove by chance, or Jack is forced to tow them home to save them from an untimely visit with Will. I'm still counting on your help there, btw...
Season 1 is all there is at this point, correct? GoT is a bit deceptive when it comes to female characters. At the beginning we readers are presented with a distinctly male dominated chivalric society, but it isn't long before all hell breaks loose.
My first thought was that the lack of GoT fandom might be due to the fact that Martin has famously declared himself opposed to fanfic; but then I realized that by putting it on TV he has basically given up any imaginary influence he may have had on this issue. He has a blog and he knows of the existence of fanfic; therefore he has made his own bed. Hopefully, he has the good sense to stop speaking out against something which only encourages people to read/watch his work. Just a bit of a rant...sorry!
