Huh. This is odd. I remember reading this now - and I actually thought that I had responded because I remember typing out something about how I'd read enough Jane Austen that I shouldn't have made the mistake of calling it 'trade' and I think I even corrected that in my google doc. So sorry I didn't, especially as these are very good points you bring up!

I'm quite chuffed about little Pirate!Sherlock and hope to have a next little bit done relatively soon. Mycroft is going to explain the pirate problem to him as a means of getting him to start developing his deductive skills...good pirates have to be able to manipulate people, you know. ;-)
