Grown-up Sherlock might like some of the things available at this online store that benefits the Historical Seaport organization in Grays Harbor, WA. They own the Lady Washington and the Hawaiian Chieftain, both replica vessels that offer battle cruises, among other things. I sailed on the Lady Washington out of Bremerton a couple of years ago, and would love to do it again. I have the posters of her hull and sail plans, and they're intricate and lovely, the bones of a ship. They also have marlin spikes and belay pins and a gorgeous tall ships calendar and hats, lots of hats :-)
