Thank you so much for the offer, I'm sure I'll be flailing around bouncing things off you quite often! I've calmed myself down a bit and told myself to take it easy, and instead I'm going to just lurk over on the 'fest and aim to do their next one. Honestly, my greatest fear is disappointing whomever would have been receiving my fic. I could end up being complete rubbish at ACD fic, I'm really too new at this to accurately predict the outcome. To prepare, I'm going to start the new round of sherlock60. They're just now starting round 2 AND doing a Granada watchalong (I, quite shamefully, have not previously seen any episodes, so I think this will help me figure out how Holmes and Watson sound in my head.)
So, as far as fandom and writing is concerned, I'm basically really, really excited without feeling stressed right now, which is pretty nice!
