It was filmed as The Last Vampyre in The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes. It was poorly adapted, turgidly filmed and Brett is so far off form it's sort of sad to watch. His health was suffering a lot in the last two series (Casebook and Memoirs). Actually, of the shows in Casebook, The Master Blackmailer is the best, and Shoscombe Old Place is fun for the appearance of 18 year old Jude Law in a supporting role! And then there's James Purefoy being all young and pretty in The Boscombe Valley Mystery.
Brett clearly had lots of fun doing Sherlock In Cunning Disguises. In ACD, Watson was always saying that the stage had lost a great performer when Sherlock Holmes decided to be a detective. Still, I like the Sherlock interpretation that he simply changes his demeanour rather than going about in wigs and false teeth. Though doubtless he'd be brilliant at it if he tried.
