Oh dear. If you end up with time - as I think 'in the middle of your dissertating' is rather akin to 'in the middle of writing your master's thesis' and find you have misplaced it, it is easily replaced with a nice used copy.
And not to tempt you, but I have W&R in both paper and hardback and would be happy to lend you either, though I've always read it with Winds of War as a backdrop so would recommend that as well. Winds I have only as a tattered paperback, though I would be happy to lend that as well.
I'm a sucker for multiple copies of books. I can always think 'just in case' or 'that volume is so pretty!' or even 'am I sure I have that?' so I end up with lots of multiples as a symptom of my chronic need to reread stories I love.
Oh, I haven't even looked for Peter Pan yet! (though I did give Pirate!Sherlock ridiculous feathers on his hat!) I've been so busy finishing up and posting! This is really ridiculous. Perhaps the holiday weekend will help me catch up, I don't even know...
