My book-sized boxes say on the side, "Heavy Duty, Easy to Lift Box for Your Heaviest Items Such as Books, Tools, Canned Goods, Etc."

Leaving aside the atrocious misuse of capitalization, I repeat, "Who Moves Canned Goods?"

I would totally move canned goods! No sense in throwing away the money you spent on them, and canned goods are excellent at surviving moves and providing food for your brand-new kitchen until you can get yourself unpacked and down to the grocery store. Pizza is traditional for the First Dinner In The New Home, but canned goods are fine for a few meals thereafter.

It totally makes sense to move them if you have them. I'm just a little confused about how that makes the list of frequently-moved items. I guess I don't really buy a lot of them at one time because I've been on the third floor and my shopping strategy has adapted accordingly. This means the idea that someone who is packing up for a move goes into her pantry and starts filling boxes with canned goods is a bit strange to me.
