I did it. I wrote the last line today. It really was only a line or two, I've technically been done since I powered through the Solitary Cyclist adaptation on Sunday, but I really didn't consider it done until I'd closed out the section. I'll start posting it soon, I honestly do spend more time reading what I write than I do writing it, and parts of this are still due to be read a few more times. (Only once I'm sick of reading something is it likely ready to be posted.) When I do post, it will likely be in 5 parts due to size and logical breaking up points. I still cannot properly chapter it, they just don't feel like chapters, though I am contemplating MacBeth quotes to header the sections. I feel I should inject a bit more Shakespeare into my Sherlock Shakespeare fic which so spectacularly fails to feature Shakespeare...more Shakespeare to come, I promise! Also, a new request for your input featuring Mrs Hudson which I think may intrigue you...

Can you hear my SQUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE from Chicago? Because it is so loud and piercing that you really, really should. I may have shattered glass in my immediate vicinity with my excitement. :)

Do you know one of my favourite quotes from Macbeth? It's lady macca saying, after learning of Duncan's murder, in a tone that surely would RAISE SUSPICIONS IN NO-ONE: "What? In our house?"

But that may just be me.

I have heard it through the power of the internet and have honestly been enjoying getting that sort of reaction for at least ten full minutes before I began typing a reply!

Thank you! Your enthusiasm and patience are so very much appreciated!!! I anticipate the Baker Street Interludes will be less demanding on the patience aspect of this equation. I'll be able to post those once they're done and roughly slotted into a reasonable timeline. January is the Silver Blaze follow up at the Wessex Cup and Sherlock's shopping trip. Feb is probably some MST3k action...I may need to watch a lot of Much Ado...oh dear...

Oh...that quote is so very Viola Holmes...she was an excellent lady macca in her day...Sherlock learned (rather reluctantly) at her knee...

I am now reflecting on the weirdness of my being all, 'macca - Paul McCartney - that's where I've heard that before' in context of equating Lady MacBeth with modern-day Sherlock's weaponized mother...and, oh dear, honestly, I'm not even going to delve into the rivalry between Viola and Not Anthea who is playing lady macca in our MacBeth season proper...I had honestly planned to send the Holmes parents to Hawaii or something for next year...

Sorry, that got long, really long. But it's all happy typing which will eventually lead to Much Ado, so it's all good in the end. :-)
