I did it. I wrote the last line today. It really was only a line or two, I've technically been done since I powered through the Solitary Cyclist adaptation on Sunday, but I really didn't consider it done until I'd closed out the section. I'll start posting it soon, I honestly do spend more time reading what I write than I do writing it, and parts of this are still due to be read a few more times. (Only once I'm sick of reading something is it likely ready to be posted.) When I do post, it will likely be in 5 parts due to size and logical breaking up points. I still cannot properly chapter it, they just don't feel like chapters, though I am contemplating MacBeth quotes to header the sections. I feel I should inject a bit more Shakespeare into my Sherlock Shakespeare fic which so spectacularly fails to feature Shakespeare...more Shakespeare to come, I promise! Also, a new request for your input featuring Mrs Hudson which I think may intrigue you...

Don't land on the cats, whatever you do!

No, really, I'm just learning. I hadn't even attempted to write a complete story prior to a year ago this month. The Sherlock 60s and the 221Bs are teaching me a lot about words I don't need.

As a reader, I was (am) a bit iffy on 221Bs because I enjoy a story long enough to be a bit of a meal rather than a snack (snack-sized fics just make me want more fic) but your idea of using them to tell a larger story is brilliant, and my writerly brain responded enthusiastically.

Well you come across as very accomplished, I'd never have realised you'd never done this seriously before a year ago. I'm equally as new to fandom/fan fiction sharing but I've been writing my own stories since forever. And I like being a trendsetter - as my OH just described it - 221B chapter stories are now what the cool kids do. Yay!
Oh and Ceefer and Jennyanydots thank you for your concern and wonder if you might not be a better owner for them than the mad woman who makes ridiculously dramatic gestures that they currently live with :)

Thank you very much! What a lovely compliment! *blushes*

I'm not entirely removed from ridiculously dramatic gestures, and I suspect the noisy black one and the superior white one would put them off me rather quickly. Cash would, after hiding for a few days, be all up in their faces. "HI! HIHIHIHIHIHI!" Minerva would only be interested in the mutual grooming aspect of having them around.

*virtually scritches Ceefer and Jennanydots between the ears*
