One of the things I love about living here is that this is right down the street from where I live. Our city is wonderful and diverse and I love it. Happy belated Birthday, Buddah!
I am now officially on the lookout for shrines - everywhere I go.
I hit the Lincoln Park Conservatory.
Squee! Secret dinosaur! He was way up high, this is a lot of zoom.
Sadly...
And then the zoo, where this guy was playing dead.
Right. It was rainy on this day.

And then I ran across the Farmers' Market that I knew was around somewhere but which I hadn't been to before.
I know what it actually means, but I'm enjoying the visual of someone petting his pet patch of grass.
